Cancer
When that word rears its ugly head we take notice! I did not write last week because my dog became very ill. She had been diagnosed with cancer previously and had surgery. She has been doing very well for 2 years. She beat the odds. Last week I was told she had mass on her spleen and it was bleeding. They said if I let it stay she would die in 1 week. I have been in the mist of cancer since my ex husband who I am very good friends with was diagnosed with cancer 2 weeks ago. So here I am adrift on a sea of bad news.
I decided to let them do surgery on her even though they felt it was cancer and she would live a short time anyway. My ex husband is not doing too well with his chemo treatments. My ex husband wants to give up since they told him his cancer is very aggressive and it does not look good. But I told him never give up until your dying breath because miracles do happen all you need to do is believe with all your heart and it will happen……. I was very confused whether to do my dog’s surgery or not but I went by my “gut” and had her have the surgery. Today the news was it was a blood blister and not cancer and she will be fine!!!
So today I am very sure your strength comes from inside and it will help you beat the odds with prayer by your side!!!!
Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.
