Two lonely people

`I spoke to one of my senior citizens the other day and he started talking about one of the women he is “seeing”. He was arguing with her and I said well then just do not see her again and he said we are two lonely people just trying to make it out here. I thought about it for the entire day he seemed so sincere and he was so upset with her but the minute I said stop seeing her he let me know they were kind of helping each other. I know the two of them come from very different places. She was a model living in Manhattan and he lived in Westchester county working two jobs to keep his life together. She lived the rich life and he the suburban life. Their paths would not have crossed. How many people can relate being somewhere or with someone to stop being lonely? I guess it is true whatever gets you through the night…………??? Loneliness is about the scariest thing out there. Joss Whedon
