To Be Thankful
Be thankful for what you do have rather than sad for what you do not have…..I know the people (and you do too) who always accentuate the negative and skip over the positive. Look for the bad instead of the good in their life. When I was a little girl my father would tell me to eat all my food because there were children starving in other countries I know many of you reading this will relate to that statement. I would say to him …well send them the food!!! He would say think of those children who do not have toys to play with….that still rings true now. If you watch the news you will see there is a lot of bad things happening out there and if we all got together and were thankful for what we do have we would put all that positive energy into the atmosphere and who knows where that would go!!!!! If a fellow isn’t thankful for what he’s got, he isn’t likely to be thankful for what he’s going to get. Frank A. Clark
